Right after chemistry, a bunch of G3 monkeys trashed MV in order to search for a masquerade mask (not the party mask ur younger brothers/sisters wear). The result is? uber fail. only teddy tales sell them and they are quite nice but very big. In the end, only Tina bought and she didnt bring it to prom. BOOSAMA TINA.
In order to replace the mask, i've thought about many many alternatives. For example, face art. Sadly, nobody can do it and i dont wanna look like a retard that night, so this is off. The girl below is ugly lar. screw it, cant find a nice photo of this. Go to youtube, there are tons of better ones.
Next i thought about getting a veil. Not the wedding kind, but it's actually the wedding kind. Aiya look at this photo lar. I'm talking about the big big holes one, not the cloth kind.
In the end, i cant find it anywhere and my date didnt want me to marry him. So i didnt wear it :(. Besides, most ppl said that it's not masquerade at all.Desperate to follow the theme, i have to go for the last resort. That is, to get a mask from here:

To compensate this, i bought some accessories, which also...cost a bomb. DON'T ASK ME HOW MUCH. hahahahahaha but not as much as the mask lar. I also bought a dress with puffy skirt, just like the olden days and its short!!! Bought a huge flower, travis called me a walking christmas tree. FYI, christmas tree has no rose on it, travis.
Thats all for following the theme - masquerade. I would also like to thank yu fai and kah lee who accompanied me in my shopping spree. We searched high and low just to get the bracelet that i want. Also, thank you mama for sponsoring my flower and dress and make-up and hairdo.
During Prom
"The night i have been waiting for is finally hereeeeeee" - my thought when i woke up.
Went to the saloon at around 245pm. Yeah very early i know, but the make-up process already took up to 2 hours. Love my make-up artist, so meticulous and professional. AND, she charged me student price, which is considered super cheap for such make-up materials and skill. LOVE HER TO BITS. She managed to cover my huge pimple on my cheek. hahahaa. It was really a huge pimple ok, and i dont think anyone noticed.
Time for my dry, frizzy hair. the hair dresser/stylist insisted me to let down my hair to show off my curls. What's there to show? it's so UGLY. so i insisted to tie up everything, even my fringe. And added my chio flower!! Walaaaaa. Nice hair-do which is cheap. See i saved lots of money, didnt dye my hair.
Rushed home to get dressed and accessorised. Next important thing to do is to camwhore. i only have 2 camwhore photos which i did not post it on facebook because it's ugly. Cannot do stupid and vain poses because mom was the photographer, i look like kayu. Cannot show u all! So happy that my mom was actually excited bout prom!!! She kept knocking on my door asking me if i was ready yet.
Well, i come from a conservative family. My mom ordered me to sticky tape my cleavage, in other words, cannot show longkang. So i did, but the tape lost its stickiness after a while and i didnt notice. Ahhhhhhh my longkang. Actually i have no longkang, it's ok.
Brian, as usual, was the driver of the day. The moment i get into the car he already called me a malay. Sad right? First, we headed to taylors to pick up mafia boss and princess tina. Even bruce called me a malay. Bruce how can u do that to me?
We camwhored upon reaching. It is the best thing to do while waiting for your friends to arrive. Rate of ppl entering the lobby can be represented by a logistic graph (Mr munin are u proud of me now?) Soon its time to enter the ballroom, committee members were rushing us in.
To be honest, i'm not happy with the prom committee. I only like the food and the ambience. Other stuffs? SUCK. Sound system sucks, best dressed nominees also suck, prom king and queen (no comment), performances are kinda okay actually. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! why the hell am i seated SO FAR away? first come first serve basis? MY ASS.
VIPs- Lecturers with mask
Seriously? 2 girls won best dressed? Since there are 2 prizes why not make it 1 best dressed dude and 1 best dressed dudette? Simply common sense also dun have. HAIH. And theres only ONE guy nominee. All the guys very ugly meh? that nominated guy very nice meh? There are so many other pretty girls but not nominated, what's on the stage SO UGLY. i can only see one who dressed really well, at least outstandingly nice.
Prom king and queen? so dumb. Read jillian's blog. I WANT JAY TO WIN!!! You should have seen their dance together, so stupid. Children can dance better than you. Wasted 4 mins of my life watching ur dance. I teach u how to dance lar, come.

Screw the performances and food, we camwhored like theres no tomorrow! Its pretty fun actually. I'm sad that i didnt have solo photos with some ppl. haih. On the other hand, i'm really glad that the WHOLE CLASS made it to prom. Talk about unity, sobs, i love G3 so much. Everybody looked great, seriously, eventhough we didnt wear masks. But who needs them anyway? we have pretty/handsome faces, why wanna cover them up?
Now i know why are cameras so freaking important. very potong lor my batt died so fast. Next time i wanna hire a photographer who follows me 24/7 like a paparazzi. Then i dont have to worry so much. Didnt camwhore enough!! no fuuuuuuuuun, 108 photos arent enough.
We paid 120 bucks for good food, but we were so busy camwhoring we missed dessert and some dishes. owwh so wasteful. hahahaha. shame on ourselves. i always tell tina not to waste food but the whole table just did. owwwwwwh. Nevertheless, tina u still cannot waste food.
We utilized every corner of the hotel to take photos. Check it out on facebook. Admire the guys' creativity tho.
Post-prom
We had free admission to MOS. Too bad i didnt bring my IC/ID. Kinda disappointed actually. But its ok i dont really like clubs. We (brian, jon and pik ching) went to an atas place, which is STARBUCKS to spend quality time together, while sipping nice chocholate/coffee. YUMS! So much better than clubbing in my honest opinion. hahahaha. LOVE U ALL.
After that, brian fetched pik ching and me home. I always feel very bad whenever brian has to fetch me home :(. Ampang very far ok. Once again, thanks brian.
Did some post-prom camwhoring. Took me ages to remove my make-up and hairdo. Tak sampai hati lar, i wanna look pretty everyday. Sadly this is not gonna happen. I shall register for a make-up course, so i can help myself be beautiful and others. Spread the love. Another but, no money lar. any sponsors?
